Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum
Borno State House of Assembly (BOHA) has received an Executive Communication from Governor, Babagana Zulum requesting the appointment and confirmation of three nominees as Honourable Commissioners.
The communication was read during plenary by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Abdulkarim Lawan, marking a key step in the state’s executive appointments process.
The nominees presented for confirmation are: Hon. Bukar Mustapha Dallatu, Hajiya Zuwaira Gambo, Barr. Hauwa Abubakar.
Following deliberations, the House resolved that the nominees should appear before it for screening in accordance with legislative procedures.
The screening exercise is expected to assess their qualifications, experience, and suitability for the roles before final confirmation by the Assembly.
