Sokoto State APC Chairman, Isa Acida

Barely two years into the government of President Bola Tinubu, the people of Sokoto state have expressed satisfaction with his style of governance.
Addressing newsmen on Friday, the state chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC), Mr. Isa Acida said the state have every reason to be thankful to President Tinubu.
Mr. Acida, who maintained that the president’s concerns for Sokoto state has vindicated the APC and their leader Senator Aliyu Wamakko who appealed to them to back Tinubu then, adding that they now have every reason to be thankful to God.
“We have been vindicated in throwing out weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Indeed, I wish to seize this opportunity to thank and celebrate Mr President , Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for honouring Sokoto state with two Ministerial Positions in his just announced cabinet reshuffle'”.
While stressing that, the state is enjoying the Tinubu led APC government, Achida said it’s also a testament to reciprocating the labour and support of their leader, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko and the governor, Ahmed Aliyu.
”The people of Sokoto State particularly members of our great party, the APC are confident that the programs and policies of the Federal government under the able leadership of Mr President will take Nigeria to greater heights”.
The state party chairman, further, listed the 1068km Sokoto-Badagry super highways recently flagged off by the President and the award of contract for the reconstruction of Sokoto-Gusau-Kaduna road amongst others as eloquent testimonies of Tinubu’s love for Sokoto state.
”The appointment of Alhaji Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi as Minster of Labour and Employment and the redeployment of Barrister Bello Goronyo to the Federal Minsitry of Works as Minister of State, not only speak volumes about the high esteem to which Mr President holds Sokoto state but has shamed our detractors and reinforced our belief that President Tinubu is a man of honour who knows his true friends and will always stand by them.
“‘With this development, the Sokoto State Chapter of the APC wishes to pass vote of confidence in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko and our young and dynamic Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto”. He said.
