Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has declared that tax offices nationwide will now operate on Saturdays as well, in preparation for the launch of the Rev360 Phase I Tax Administration System.
In a public notice dated May 7 and signed by the Executive Chairman of NRS, Dr. Zacch Adedeji, the Service announced that all tax offices nationwide will be open on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., starting May 9 through June 27, 2026.
The NRS stated that this initiative is designed to offer enhanced support to taxpayers and to improve service delivery throughout the rollout of the new tax administration platform for the Medium and Emerging Taxpayer Segments.
The Service highlighted that the extended Saturday hours are intended to support taxpayers needing assistance with the new system, ensure smooth compliance during Companies Income Tax filing period, and enhance access to tax services beyond the usual weekday schedule.
The NRS urged taxpayers to utilize this initiative to address tax-related issues, obtain essential guidance, and meet their tax obligations promptly.
The statement affirmed the NRS commitment to provide efficient, transparent, and taxpayer-centered services.
