Arrested internet fraudsters

Operatives of the Makurdi Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 15 suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
The anti-graft agency in a post on its X handle on Tuesday, said the suspects were arrested in Amax Apartment, Guzape, following credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.
Items recovered from them include: a Toyota Highlander with customized registration number (BORNO AAA) and phones.
“They have made useful statements and will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded”, said the statement.
