VP Kashim Shettima
Vice-President Kashim Shettima has conveyed heartfelt appreciation to President Bola Tinubu, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, and Nigerians nationwide for their warm messages and prayers on his 59th birthday.
In a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja, Shettima extended his gratitude to a wide array of well-wishers, including governors, senators, House of Representatives members, cabinet colleagues, traditional and religious leaders, community figures, and countless citizens.
Reflecting on the outpouring of support, Shettima remarked, “The goodwill messages from across Nigeria and beyond breathe life into the timeless truth of unity and compassion.”
He expressed particular gratitude to President Tinubu, stating, “Your heartfelt message, filled with warmth and camaraderie, has deeply touched me. Our bond, rooted in loyalty and service, is one I will always cherish.”
Shettima praised Tinubu’s leadership, noting, “I have witnessed you bear the weight of tough decisions, guiding our nation through challenges toward a future of stability and prosperity.”
He added, “Serving under your visionary and people-focused leadership in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda is both an honor and a lifelong lesson.”
The Vice-President also highlighted the significance of the solidarity shown by Nigerians, saying, “These prayers and gestures remind me of the profound responsibility public service places on us as leaders.”
He expressed renewed determination, stating, “With these tokens of goodwill, I am reinvigorated in purpose and strengthened in spirit. Nigeria’s brightest days are yet to come.”
