A cloud of sorrow hangs over the family of Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro, as they grapple with a tragic double loss—his son and grandson passing away within a span of just two days.
Sources close to the family according to DAILY POST reports, revealed that Senator Moro’s son, Victor Moro, had only recently returned from Turkey, where he completed his studies, and was preparing to begin his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
Sadly, Victor’s promising future was cut short in a fatal car crash along the Mararaba route in Nasarawa State. The accident occurred while he was en route from the family home to attend to some personal commitments.
This tragedy struck less than a day after the family had laid to rest Victor’s young nephew—Senator Moro’s grandson—deepening the weight of grief on the bereaved household.
Friends, colleagues, and well-wishers have described the situation as a “devastating and unimaginable blow,” as the family navigates the unbearable pain of back-to-back losses.
