Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia has felicitated Muslims faithful in the state on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-El-Fitr celebration.
Governor Alia in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, encouraged all Muslim Ummah to embrace the lessons, blessings and the spiritual benefits of Ramadan in their daily living, saying the Holy Prophet’s teachings of love, peace, justice and sacrifice, were major contributors to nation-building.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitri, it is my hope and prayer that Ramadan’s spiritual lessons and the Holy Prophet’s teachings of love, justice, fairness, equity, peaceful co-existence with others, tolerance, honesty and dedication to duty, will remain with us all for the benefit and greater glory of our dear nation.”
Alia, according to the statement reminded all Nigerians of the importance of respecting the faith and beliefs of all, and urged all the Muslims to use the celebration for sober reflection, praying for peace, unity and progress of the State and nation.
Governor Alia wished all the Muslim faithful, a memorable Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
