APC leads in Borno as Zulum wins 7 out of 20 LGAs

The incumbent State Governor of Borno State, Babagaba Zulum is leading all the 11 gubernatorial candidates that contested the 2023 Governorship election on Saturday, 18th March, 2023 in all the 7 out of the 27 LGAs of the state.

Governor Zulum led with wide range margin/gap ahead of all the gubernatorial candidates in his home town LGA Mafa LGC and Dikwa, Nganzai, Jere, Guzamala, Kaga abd Magumeri LGCs with 132, 526 votes against his closest opposition party, PDP which scored a total of 5,144 votes.

The Borno State INEC Collation- Returning Officer of 2023 Presidential and National Assembly Election, Professor Jude Tsammani Rabo who is also the Vice Chancellor, Federal University, Wukari, Taraba State, announced the outcome of the gubernatorial election at the Borno State INEC Collation Center, Kashim Ibrahim College of Education Maiduguri.

Prof. Rabo, said the APC has so far got a total of 132, 526 and PDP scored a total of 5,144 votes NNPP- got a total of zero (0) votes and LP scored a total of 84 votes
