The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the 28 Local Government Councils (LGCs) constituency seats in the Borno State House of Assembly.
This is just as the ruling APC won the Saturday’s governorship election conducted across the 27 LGAs of the state.
This is contained in a statement signed and issued by the Borno State INEC Head of Department (HOD), Electoral Operations, Malam Audu Mahmud Dauya and made available on Monday to journalists in Maiduguri.
The statement said: “90% of the BOSHA members returned to the house including the Speaker of the House, Hon. Abdulkarim Lawan from Guzamala LGC State Constituency , the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Engr. Abddullahi Musa Askira from Askira/Uba LGC State Constituency and Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Dige Mohammed from Kala Balge LGC State Constituency .
