This is contained in a statement released on Thursday, July 17, 2025, the Board’s Secretary, retired Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jubril,
Jibril explained that the temporary suspension is to enhance the functionality of the recruitment portal (https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng).
The upgrade aims to accommodate the high volume of applications while ensuring a transparent, efficient, and fair recruitment process.
“We commend the enthusiasm of young Nigerians eager to serve through these critical agencies,” Jubril noted.
The recruitment, initially set to start on July 2, was previously rescheduled to July 14.
The affected agencies include the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, and Federal Fire Service.
