The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Service Board (CDCFIB) has said it would soon conclude the ongoing Federal Fire service (FFS) recruitment exercise.
The Secretary of the board, Ja’afaru Ahmed, disclosed this in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja.
It would be recalled that the FFS, had in October 2023, commenced recruitment exercise into its junior cadre nationwide with the promise to conclude everything by June 15.
Ahmed wished to inform the general public that it would commence the next stage of the recruitment exercise in August and would be concluded before the end of September.
“The board wishes to apologise over its inability to complete the process by June 15, as earlier intended. This was due to a nationwide manpower audit exercise carried out in the four services.
“This was recently concluded across the country,”he said.
He promised that all shortlisted candidates would be duly notified of the next stage of the recruitment exercise through the phone numbers and e-mail addresses provided by them.
