
Vctims of Boko Haram suicide bomb in Konduga, Borno State

A devastating suicide bomb attack occurred on Friday night at a fish market in Konduga, Borno State, resulting in the loss of 12 lives and injuring 16 others.
The suspected Boko Haram female suicide attacker has left the community in shock, grief, fear, and uncertainty.
The Executive Chairman of Konduga Local Government Council, Hon. Abba Ali Abari, attended the funeral prayers of the victims on Saturday morning.

“I am committed to working with the state and federal government in tackling terrorism activities in our community,” Abari said in his condolence message.
He expressed outrage and sadness over the incident and pledged to support the families of the victims.
Abari spent the night at General Hospital Maiduguri, ensuring the injured victims received proper treatment. The funeral prayer was led by the Chief Imam of Konduga, Goni Kaka.
Several community leaders and government officials accompanied Abari to the funeral, including the Vice Chairman of the Local Government Council, Hon. Bulama Gana Dalori, and the Secretary of the LGC, Alhaji Saleh Bukar.
The injured victims are currently receiving treatment at General Hospital Maiduguri and another hospital in Konduga.
The community is still reeling from the attack, and leaders are calling for increased efforts to tackle terrorism.
