Borno Govt commends Sudan Mission team for partnership in gum Arabic, wheat, animal production

Borno State Governor, Prof Babagana Zulum has said the visit of Sudan Mission team to the state to interact and share experience with relevant stakeholders in the field of agriculture is timely and important, considering the fact that both the Sudan Republic and Borno State are recovering from the effects and destruction as a result of long time insecurity Crisis.

The governor who was represented by his Deputy Governor, Hon.Umar Kadufur, stated this during a Gala night dinner organised by the state governor in honour of Sudan Mission team.

The governor said that both the two sides have benefitted from the interaction especially in the areas of Gum arabic, wheat, date palm and livestock production and thank the Sudan Mission team for the visit assuring that the partnership would be a continuous one for the agricultural development of the both sides.

In attendance were the head of service Borno state Barr. Simon C malgwe, Members of the State house of assembly, Members of the State Executive council, special advisers, SSA/SA local Government chairman among others.
