
Borno State Government has commiserated with the Nigerian Army, CJTF, and the Damboa community over the loss of two soldiers and two CJTF members in the recent Wajiroko ambush.
Governor Babagana Zulum sent a delegation led by the Commissioner for Youths Empowerment, Sports and Poverty Alleviation, Comrade Saina Buba, to deliver the Government’s condolences.
He was accompanied by the Chairmen of Damboa and Chibok LGAs, as well as the APC Chairmanship Candidate for Chibok LGA.
The delegation visited the families of the fallen CJTF members to offer comfort and convey the Governor’s heartfelt sympathy.
They also visited the 25 Task Force Brigade Headquarters to console the military and commend their gallantry.
Comrade Buba reaffirmed Governor Zulum’s unwavering support to the Nigerian Army, CJTF, and all security agencies working to keep Borno safe.
The government called for continued prayers for the souls of the departed and lasting peace in the state.
