Comedian Samuel Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggi, was hospitalised yesterday after being shot in the thigh while filming a comedy skit under the Sango‑Ota bridge in Ogun State, according to reports from Linda Ikeji’s Instagram page.
Eyewitnesses described chaos on set as the incident unfolded.
Broda Shaggi was first taken to Blooming Care Hospital in Alakuko, Lagos State, before being moved to Duchess Hospital in Ikeja for further treatment.
Details remain unclear on how the shooting occurred, or whether it was accidental.
Police have been notified and are investigating the circumstances.
