COVID-19: Nigeria records 388 new cases

The total number of cases of coronavirus (covid-19) in Nigeria rose to 2,170 on Friday with 238 new cases recorded by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

Out of the new cases, Kano state for second time recorded 92, followed by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with 36 and Lagos 30.

The NCDC, which announcing this Friday night, also said that 351 patients had so far been discharged, while the number of deaths recorded in 34 states and the FCT rose to 68.
