The new Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), Arc. Sunny Echono on Monday in Abuja, resumed duty to a rousing welcome from the members of the staff of the agency.
Speaking after he received the handover note from his predecessor, Professor Suleiman Bogoro, Echono commended him for the services rendered to Nigeria.
He promised to build on the solid foundation and strengthen areas that need to improve.
He assured the members of the staff that hard work would be rewarded, stressing that respect will be accorded and that entitlement meant for them will be prompt.
Earlier the outgoing Executive Secretary expressed joy that his successor was an insider and the transition was going to be seamless
