DSS personnel and suspended CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele

The Department of State Services (DSS) has confirmed that the suspended Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele, is currently in its custody for investigative reasons.
This is coming barely 3 hours after the secret police debunked having Mr. Emefiele in its custody while responding to reports that the service had arrested the suspended CBN governor.
The DSS spokesman, Dr Peter Afunanya, confirmed the development in a statement on Saturday in Abuja.
Dr. Afunanya urged the public, particularly the media, to apply utmost caution in the reportage and narratives concerning the arrest.
