
Chief Judge (CJ) of the Federal High Court (FHC), Justice John Tsoho
Chief Judge of the Federal High Court of Nigeria, John Tsoho, has expressed his readiness to honour an invitation by the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) over allegations of non-declaration of assets.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Monday by the court’s Director of Information, Catherine Oby Christopher.
According to the statement, Justice Tsoho has requested the bureau to schedule his appearance from the week beginning March 16, noting that the period would be most convenient for him.
Chief Judge reaffirmed his commitment to due process, transparency, and respect for the rule of law, stressing that he remains willing to cooperate fully with all lawful investigations.
Part of the statement reads:
“The Federal High Court of Nigeria wishes to clarify that the Honourable Chief Judge, Hon. Justice John Terhemba Tsoho, remains fully committed to cooperating with the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) in respect of its invitation.
The statement further emphasised that Justice Tsoho has consistently upheld the principles of accountability and integrity in the discharge of his judicial responsibilities.
It added that the leadership of the Federal High Court remains confident in the Chief Judge’s dedication to justice and due process, assuring the public that the matter will be handled in line with established legal procedures.
The development comes amid growing public interest in transparency and asset declaration among public office holders, as anti-corruption agencies continue to intensify efforts to promote accountability in governance.
