The Minister of State for Regional Development, Uba Maigari Ahmadu, has reiterated Federal Government’s resolve to assist tertiary Institutions in their developmental efforts.
The Minister stated this on Tuesday when he paid an inspection visit to the Borno State University to inspect the Faculty of Engineering building being constructed by the North East Development Commission (NEDC).
Alhaji Ahmadu expressed satisfaction with the project and assured that work will resume after discussions with the NEDC management.
The Minister was accompanied by the Managing Director/CEO of NEDC, Mohammed Goni Alkali and some management staff of the commission.
Vice Chancellor BOSU, Professor Babagana Gutti, who received the Minister and his team, thanked them for their commitment to support the university.
Professor Gutti, however, appealed to the Minister to also consider furnishing the faculty building after its completion.
