Members of the Bauchi State Government House Press Crew are in Jos, Plateau State capital for a 3-day retreat organized by the Office of the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado.
The retreat, sponsored by Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed is among other issues, to allow the journalists update their skills on new challenges in the media on government functions.
In,a keynote delivery, the Bauchi Governor, Bala Mohammed represented by the state Commissioner of Information and Communications, USMAN DANTURAKI, said the government will continue to support members of the media in the discharge of their duties and urged them to assist his administration in promoting his laudable policies and programs.
The Special Adviser Media and Publicity to Governor Bala Mohammed, COMR MUKHTAR MOHAMMED GIDADO, while speaking on the objective of the workshop, said Governor Bala Mohammed solely sponsored the retreat so as to further impact more knowledge on the members so as to cover the governor’s many development projects across the state.
The Director Press and Public Affairs, Plateau State, Mr GYANG BERE, commended Governor Mohammed for setting the pace for others to emulate and that the gesture would be replicated in plateau state.
