Governor Otu flags off Calabar Carnival

Cross River State Governor, Bassey Otu has promised to make the 2023 Calabar Carnival the biggest street party in Africa.

According to the Governor ” This is one of our campaign promises to move the Carnival to the next Level,”

“If you look at the environment, you will see that everyone is ready to vibrates”, he said.

The governor stated that the Calabar Carnival has been reinvigorated and commended First Bank Nigeria Zenith Bank, United Bank for Africa (UBA) and Sterling Bank for keying into his administration.

He said Cross River State remains the preferred destination for tourism and appealed to investors to take advantage of Calabar.

Governor Otu was accompany by the Minister of Sports Development. Senator John Owan Enor, the Minister of humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Betta Edu, Chief of Defence Intelligence, Service Commanders, Deputy Governor Peter Odey, Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Albert Ayambem, Chairman of the Cross River State All Progress Congress (APC) Alphonsus Ogar Eba and South South Chairman of APC.
