Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people of Osun, pledging to remain undeterred by Nigeria’s ongoing challenges.
Speaking at the flag-off ceremony for the Ila Township Road dualisation in Ila, Osun, on Monday, Adeleke emphasized his dedication to fulfilling his promise to God and the state’s residents.
“I have vowed to my God and the good people of Osun that I am committed to serving them.
“My intellect, passion, and strength will be devoted to the welfare, peace, and security of the people,” Adeleke declared.
He assured residents that his administration would see all projects through to completion, stating, “I will never be distracted from my vow to serve. We are determined, and we are pushing ahead with the mega projects.”
The governor highlighted that the first phase of the Ila Township Road dualisation, spanning 3.5 kilometers, is slated for completion within 10 months.
He also noted significant progress in infrastructure, with over 175 kilometers of roads reconstructed, rehabilitated, or renovated across Osun.
Additionally, Adeleke flagged off the second phase of the Osogbo-Ikirun-Ila Odo Road dualisation at the Kwara boundary, projecting its completion within 12 months.
He further revealed that multiple road dualisation and flyover projects are advancing at various stages, underscoring his administration’s focus on transformative infrastructure development for the state.
