Jonathan, icon of democracy in Africa – Sen. Eremienyo

The lawmaker representing Bayelsa East Senatorial District, Senator Biobarakuma W Degi Eremienyo has described former President Goodluck Jonathan as a pillar and ICON of democracy in Africa. 

Sen. Eremienyo made this assertion on Sunday n a goodwill message he sent to Dr Goodluck Jonathan on the occasion of his 65th birthday. 

He said that he believed that African nations will experience greater   Socio economic and political stability if Leaders emulate his style of demonstration of sportsmanship in politics. 

Sen Degi, who is the Chairman Senate Committee on Host Communities Producing Oil and Gas, said: “on behalf of his family and the good people of BAYELSA east senatorial District, we expressed  profound felicitation to Dr Goodluck Jonathan as he celebrates his day wishing him good health long and prosperous life.

The lawmaker added that society needed more and and more of his invaluable contributions for growth and development.
