Hon. Kadafur observes two raka’at El-Eal Adhan prayer in Shani LGA of Borno

The Borno State Deputy Governor, H.E Hon. Umar Usman Kadafur has spent a night in Shani Local Government Area on the state, where he performed this year’s Eid-le- Kabir sallah together with the Emir of Shani .

The two rakaat Eid-ie-Kabir prayer led by the Chief Imam of Shani, Alhaji Muhammed Madaki at the Eid ground in Shani Town were held peacefully with the Deputy Governor and Emir of Shani amid thousands of worshippers in attendance.

Immediately after the two Eid-ie-Kabir Rakaat sallah prayers, a special durbar was organised in honour of the Deputy Governor, horse riding and traditional dances were interestingly featured.

The Emir of Shani, HRH Mohammed Nasir Mailafiya, said this is the first time a sitting deputy governor performed Eid-ie-Kabir Sallah in Shani, therefore, expressed the appreciation of the entire Emirates Council to the deputy governor.

The Emir of Shani commended the state governor for his developmental effort within a short period of time and prayed for the progress and return of peace to Borno State and the country in general.

Those who accompanied the deputy governor to Shani were the member of state House of Assembly representing Shani Local Government Area, Hon. Ibrahim Musa Inuwa kubo,

The deputy governor and his entourage proceed to Biu were he paid a homage to H.R.H The Emir of Biu Alhaji Mustapha Umar Mustapha II at his palace.
