In pursuant of excellence and quest to penetrate the nation’s market, the Japanese quality fiber manufacturer, Kanekalon the makers of X – Pression hair continued in their 2025 collaboration workshop in Lagos hosting the Lagos State Barbers Hairdressers and Cosmetologist Association, LABHCA members in a colourful event.
In a remark by the Kanekalon representative from Ghana, Miebi who gave a brief history of the company, informed the gathering that the Kanekalon brand fibres are of high-quality and innovative hair solutions to cater for the diverse needs and styles of customers.
Also, the president of LABHCA, Sade Sadeeq, earlier in her welcome speech, acknowledged the sponsor of Kanekalon, and appreciated the partnerhips of X- Pression, AH&B, patrons, Mirron Nigeria, 10×10 in the well attended collaboration workshop at the Courage Centre, Abule Egba, Lagos state.
She advised the stylists to pay more than the usual attention as more ideas and innovative trends will be discussed to their benefit.
The Japanese hair brand 10 x10 also represented at the event showcases their uniqueness in premium hair products, including fiber wigs, braids, crochets, and ponytails. The brand which was established in 2021, has itself in providing high-quality, innovative hair solutions that would cater to the diverse needs and styles of customers.
Meanwhile, the Mirron representative, Pamela in brief remarks gave an overview of the brand and encouraged the hairstylists to familiarize themselves with the Mirron Nigeria App, facilitating effortless ordering of desired products.
In the same vein, thhe X- Pression representative Thelma, also introduced the new X- Pression Braid called – Gem Braid – to the stylists, highlighting its exceptional features and qualities,familiarizing the hairstylists with the newly added product.
She concluded with a question and answer session, evaluating the hairstylists understanding and providing clarification on the products benefits,ensuring they are well informed and equipped with the necessary knowledge.
Thelma further gave the hairstylists tips on ways to effectively communicate with their clients and how to differentiate between counterfeit and original products of Kanekalon and concluded by inviting a few hairstylists to practically demonstrate their innovative skills using the Kanekalon fiber.
As usual the hairstylists were rewarded for their exceptional performance by crafting stunning hairstyles.
The highlight of the occasion was the presentation Prize to the winners, as the first prize went to who took home N50,000 naira, while the second winner, Racheal Bola Badmus got 30,000 naira and the third the winner, Adams Bessing, got 20,000 naira respectively.
The Kanekalon collaboration workshop series will move from Lagos to Ibadan the capital city of Oyo state March 10, 2025 at Genesis Hotel & Suite Hall, Challenge Molete Road, Beside Fire Service, Ibadan.
