NACTAL hails legacies of outgoing NAPTIP DG

The National President of Network Against Trafficking, Abuse and Labour (NACTAL) in Nigeria has described the outgoing Director General of NAPTIP, Professor Fatima Wasiri-Azi as very impactful mother, whose deep rooted concern and love for humanity stood her out.

NACTAL which is the umbrella organisation of Nigerian non-governmental organizations engaged in advocacy and campaign for children’s rights, anti-human trafficking, human rights abuse and child labour comprises of 220 member organizations in the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria.

Alhaji Abubakar in short but well scripted farewell message, to Prof. Fatima, titled, A Journey Stifled By The Nigerian Factor: Encomium To Professor Fatima Waziri-Azi”, said she has left behind enduring legacies in the anal of history.

The message read in part, “”As I reflect on the remarkable legacy you have left behind and your passion for National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP)’s mission and clear vision for its future, I wish to say your tenure has been marked by key milestones and impactful initiatives.

“Beyond the numbers and the accolades, you have left an indelible mark on the very fabric of NAPTIP, your leadership has been characterized by integrity, compassion, strategic thinking, collaborative spirit, and commitment to excellence”.

He said, “Your contributions will not go unnoticed. As you move forward, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering dedication and the inspiration you have provided. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

“”I also wish the new leadership of NAPTIP all the very best and a successful tenure””.
