
As Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Anniversary, leading 2027 House of Representatives hopeful for Oju/Obi Federal Constituency, Oleru Adoga, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the people of his constituency and Nigerians across the country.
Speaking in a goodwill message released to commemorate the national occasion, Adoga, a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart, emphasized the symbolic importance of October 1st as a day to reflect on Nigeria’s journey from colonial rule to independence, and to recommit to nation-building.
> “I wish to extend my warmest greetings to the good people of Oju/Obi Federal Constituency and Nigerians at large on the auspicious occasion of our country’s 64th Independence Anniversary,” Adoga said.
He commended the resilience and sacrifice of past and present leaders, especially those from Oju/Obi, for their role in Nigeria’s development, even in the face of daunting national challenges.
> “I want to convey my gratitude to all our leaders in Nigeria, especially in Oju/Obi Federal Constituency, for their courage and steadfastness throughout our developmental journey,” he added.
Adoga further urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and committed to the ideals of service, courage, and unity, which he described as key to achieving collective prosperity.
> “As we celebrate this 64th Independence Anniversary, we must remember to keep hope alive by dedicating ourselves to service, having the courage to uplift the nation, and honoring the supreme sacrifices made for our common good,” he advised.
He concluded with a renewed call for patriotism and unity among all Nigerians.
