Ortom salutes David Mark at 76

The immediate past Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom has congratulated the former Senate President, Senator David Mark on his 76th birthday.

A statement by the media aide to the former Governor Ortom, said Senator Mark deserved all the accolades, prayers and well wishes he is receiving at the moment having served the country selflessly and with commitment and patriotism.

The statement revealed that Senator Mark is a statesman, seasoned administrator and a bastion of democracy who has always stood for the rule of law, equity and justice.

According to the statement, “Senator David Mark is a true patriot and leader who has over the years, made selfless contributions to the peace, unity and development of the country. As he celebrates his 76th birthday anniversary, I extend very warm felicitations to him on behalf of my family.

“It is my prayer that Almighty God keeps and blesses him with good health as he continues to play a fatherly role for the benefit of the state and country at large.”

He wished the former Senate President many more fruitful years.
