Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the commencement of the sale of expression of interest and nomination forms for outstanding by-elections in 12 states.
According to the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, the sale of forms will begin on Thursday, July 3, and end on July 10.
Ologunagba assured party leaders, critical stakeholders, and members that the nomination process would be transparent and credible.
“The NWC assures all party leaders, critical stakeholders and teeming members of the PDP of a transparent and credible nomination as we march to victory in the by-elections,” he said.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled August 16 for the conduct of the by-elections in 12 states.
The states include Anambra, Edo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Kogi, Niger, Ogun, Oyo, Taraba, and Zamfara.
The PDP encouraged eligible and interested party members to obtain and return their completed forms at the PDP National Secretariat in Abuja.
