Philanthropist lights up community in Nasarawa
By DANJUMA JOSEPH, Lafia –
There was wild jubilation in Ningo Sambe, a community in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State as electricity was restored after many months of blackout.
The community had been without electricity following the vandalization of its transformer by yet-to-be identified vandals.
The community was unable to fix the vandalized light until recently when help came their way through an Abuja-based philanthropist, Architect Ishaya Duba Dodo.
According to the Chairman of Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC) in Nasarawa State, Comrade Benjamin Ewuga, he fixed the transformer and electricity was restored on Saturday May 25.
Speaking, some members of the community who thanked Architect Ishaya Duba Dodo for coming to their aid, described him as God sent to humanity and prayed to God Almighty to reward him abundantly.
