
Ukertor-Moti
The Board and the Academic Fellow Panel of the ICMCI also known as CMC-Global has approved the conferment of the CMC-Global Academic Fellow on Professor Ukertor Gabriel Moti for the 2022 nominations.
Professor Moti, who is Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC) and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), is currently the President, Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) Nigeria.
By this appointment, Professor Ukertor Gabriel Moti becomes the first Nigerian and the second African to be admitted into the CMC-Global Academic Fellowship. CMC-Global (ICMCI) is the international Management Consulting professional body, comprised of individual country-based, member, Institutes of Management Consulting (IMCs).
Academic Fellows of CMC-Global are professors whose research and/or teaching of internal or external management consulting at a publicly accredited university is deemed by peer reviews to be of a particularly worthy level of excellence.
The ICMCI Academic Fellow designation is intended to be a mark of distinction which recognises academic practitioners from around the world who have contributed to the study and teaching of management consultancy. It is awarded by ICMCI to suitably qualified individuals based upon the recommendation of the local IMC.
The (CMC-Global) Academic Fellow was established in 2013 by the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI). This outreach initiative by CMC-Global and its country Institutes of Management Consulting is designed to build a closer link between Academia and the professional body, enhance exposure of the CMC designation to students, and to develop the intellectual capital of the global CMC community.

Professor Moti was nominated for the Fellowship by the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) Nigeria following his meeting the eligibility criteria of holding a position at a recognised academic institution, specifically a publicly accredited university within Nigeria, the University of Abuja, actively engaging in research and/or teaching within the external or internal management consulting field and also being a practicing Certified Management Consultant (CMC).
His nomination together with the supporting information (academic activities-teaching, research, consultancy, international conferences) was assessed for suitability by the ICMCI Academic Fellowship Panel and approved by the ICMCI Board. The confirmation of award has been provided via a certificate and letter and concurrent press release by the ICMCI (CMC-Global) Secretariat, Zurich and will last for the duration of the Academic Fellow’s involvement in management consulting academe.
Professor Moti joins 68 other Academic Fellows from the USA, Korea, Denmark, Ireland, UK, Netherlands, Jordan, South Africa, Canada, Sweden, Austria, Romania, Australia, China, Russia, Singapore, Italy, India, Luxembourg, Caribbean, Hong Kong, and Iran as well as the name of Nigeria and University of Abuja on the Directory of ICMCI-AF. Ukertor Gabriel Moti who is Professor of Public Sector Management and Governance and Dean, School of Post Graduate Studies recently became a Maxwell Leadership Certified Team Member licensed to provide facilitation in Speaking, Coaching, and Training on approved Maxwell Leadership and Professional Development content as an International Leadership Expert, Speaker and Trainer. He is also a CMC-Global Accredited Trainer on ISO 20700/2017 and licensed to deliver ISO 20700/2017 training on behalf of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMC).
