“Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah… I have received approval to take Aminu Alhassan Dantata from Abu Dhabi to Madina.
“He will be buried tomorrow morning by the grace of Allah.”
The family had earlier announced Dantata’s wish to be buried in Madina, a request now honored by the Saudi government.

Thousands of mourners, including top dignitaries such as the Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, and prominent clerics, attended a special Islamic prayer session (Salatul Ga’ib) held in Kano on Saturday.
Political leaders, business associates, and members of the public have continued to send tributes, celebrating Dantata’s legacy of philanthropy, integrity, and nation-building.
