Born on 10 Jan 1966 , 57 year old Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, first and foremost is a barrister , a member of Body of Benchers , a Life Bencher , the highest body in the legal profession

He was minority leader in 2003
He was a deputy (majority) whip of house of Rep in 2007.

He was Rt Hon Speaker of house of Representative in 2011.

He was a two term elected Governor of Sokoto State.

He was Chairman of all Governors forum.

He was Director General of Atiku Okowa Campaign Organisation.
He is now elected Distinguished Senator representing Sokoto South . As a former Speaker of House of Representative now in the Senate, he ranks 2nd only to Senator Ahmed Lawan.

A young man with such an intimidating and impressive resume must attract some political antagonists because shallow and bitter players neither respect achievements nor credentials that they lack but others have . He has been a minority leader before and if Allah wishes he will be again .

Politics is about building bridges not about destruction of bridges and character assassination and drunken theatericals Who really is afraid of H/E Senator Aminu Tambuwal a man who has National and global appeal.
Becoming an officer in the legislative house is actually a bilateral honor for the Red Chambers . As former Speaker and this being the fourth time he is returning to the national Assembly(2003, 2007, 2011 and 2023), his experience will be very useful in the 10th Assembly. Trying to get the majority party determine who will be minority leader of the minority parties is one foot in one party or brazen attempt to emasculate and absorb the opposition through the indisciplined political person who continue to find justifications for their continued political shenanigans.

Nothing they do can diminish the shine of Rt Hon, Excellency, Barr, Dist. Senator Aminu Tambuwal, who has remained relevant and focused .
Minority leadership not withstanding Tambuwal is unarguable enigma in Nigerian politics and most importantly unavoidable on the floor of the Senate.. Power belongs to Allah and He gives it to whoever He (Allah) pleases. There’s really no need to go into political panic mode only Allah knows tomorrow.

‘Nothing can stop an idea whose time has come, just as no one can control the destiny of others’ .
