—Pledges support for Vandeikya Football Council—
The Ter Kunav, HRH, Chief Nyiyongu Achiaku has received in his Royal Palace a delegation from the Vandeikya Local Government Football Council (LGFC) led by the Chairman, Mr. Robert Terlumun Akpenpuun.
In a statement signed by The Head, Media & Publicity, Vandeikya LGFC, Mr. David Ibi, said Chief Akpenpuun and his delegation were at the Royal Palace of the paramount ruler to present him the beautiful trophy to be competed for in his honour by the twelve Council Wards that make up Kunavland.
Other items presented to the Ter Kunav for the competition were, jerseys, a banner and invitation cards.
Chief Akpenpuun thereafter intimated the Ter Kunav on the level of preparedness of the Council towards staging a successful Ter Kunav Cup which is expected to kick off on Wed. April 7, 2021.
Responding, the visibly excited Ter Kunav was full of praise for the Council, noting that their efforts will help young footballers actualize their dreams as well as enhance peace and development in Kunavland.
The Royal Father released his Royal blessings on the delegation and pledged to support the Council to actualize their laudable objectives.
