Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has launched her own music foundation aimed at helping young African talents grow in the industry.
The update was shared on X by HYPETRYBE, which revealed that the singer is partnering with Berklee College of Music for the project.
According to the post, the foundation will focus on training and mentoring upcoming artists, producers, songwriters and others who want to build a proper career in music.
One of the first programmes under the initiative is a four-day intensive music training in Nigeria. The sessions will cover performance, songwriting, music production and the business side of music.
Participants are also expected to take part in a live showcase at the end of the programme, where they will present what they have worked on.
There will also be information about possible scholarship opportunities with Berklee.
Tiwa Savage studied at Berklee earlier in her career, and this move looks like her way of giving back and creating opportunities for others coming behind her.
