FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike

The Crusade for Greater Nigeria on Poverty Eradication and Social Matters (CFGN), has urged Mr Nyesom Wike, the FCT Minister, continue with his transformation efforts in the capital city in spite of push-backs.

Mr Prosper Okafor, the president of CFGN, an NGO, said this in Abuja on Monday during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)

He described Wike as possessing “unequaled transforming skills and a visionary leader“.

He expressed confidence in Wike’s ability to contain the insecurity and food inflation in the FCT within the shortest possible time.

“Nyesom Wike’s track record of total transformation of Rivers to where it is today is a testament of his administrative competence.

“He is a man of vision who has what it takes to catapult FCT to higher grounds only with the support of all,” he said.

Okafor who reiterated his group’s determination to rally support for Wike and President Bola Tinubu urged FCT residents and all Nigerians to also do same.

According to him, the recent distribution of grains by the FCT administration and security measures are indications that Wike is responsive to critical situations.

He urged Nigerians to always work in synergy with the FCT Minister to reposition the territory. (NAN)
