
Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum

Borno Governor, Babagana Zulum has announced plans to establish an ICT Digital Literacy Center and a High Islamic College in Chibok Local Government Area, located in the southern part of the State.
Zulum shared these initiatives during an address on his way to Damboa, emphasizing the importance of improving educational infrastructure and promoting digital skills in the region.
He also assured the community of continued efforts to address security concerns, enhance agricultural support, and improve other vital services.
Governor Zulum extended his condolences to the family of Hon. Dauda Pona, who recently lost three children in a flood disaster in Mboa community.
Additionally, he visited the families of the late Hon. Baba Aimo Foni, a former Member of the House of Assembly, and the late Dr. Nuhu Clark JP, paying respects and offering support.
These visits reflect Zulum’s commitment to both community development and the welfare of families affected by recent tragedies.
He said the proposed ICT center and Islamic college were aimed at providing valuable educational opportunities, helping to build a brighter future for the youth of Chibok and surrounding communities.
