Al Nassr are Saudi Pro League champions after a 4-1 win over Damac FC on the final day of the season.
They needed the win to seal the title and they delivered when it mattered, ending a seven-year wait for the league crown.
It is also the first league trophy for Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia since joining in 2023 after two seasons without silverware at the club.
Sadio Mane and Kingsley Coman gave Al Nassr control of the game before Ronaldo stepped up in the second half with a brace, including a superb free kick.
Mane scored in the 34th minute and Coman added the second early in the second half. Damac pulled one back from the penalty spot in the 58th minute through Morlaye Sylla but Ronaldo responded quickly with a curling free kick in the 63rd minute.
He finished the job in the 81st minute and by then the atmosphere had already turned into celebration inside the stadium.
Those two goals take Ronaldo to 973 career goals, moving him closer to the 1000 mark that continues to define this stage of his career.
He has again played a key role in Al Nassr’s season, stepping up in big moments as the club finally got over the line in the title race.
At the final whistle, players and fans were already celebrating. Al Nassr are champions again.
