Zulum votes in Mafa, lauds smoothness of exercise

Governor Zulum casting his vote in Mafa

Bornk State Governor, Babagana Zulum on Saturday morning, travelled from Maiduguri to Mafa town, where he cast his vote in the ongoing gubernatorial and state assembly elections.

Zulum who was accredited by INEC officials, cast his vote at unit 006 Ajari, around 10:37 am.

The Governor expressed delight with the smoothness of exercise at that polling unit.

Speaking to journalists after casting his vote, Governor Zulum expressed delight with the large turn out of voters to exercise their civic duties.

The governor commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for timely commencement of the exercise.

“I am highly delighted with the process and he urged the people to conduct themselves peacefully for a successful exercise.” Gov. Zulum said.
