Gov. Buni votes in his home town, commends INEC efficiency

Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni joined hundreds of voters that were willing to exercise their franchise in his home town, Buni Gari in Saturday at polling unit 004 Bulturam/Yarimary ward of Buni Gari of Gujba Local Government.

Addressing newsmen shortly after casting his ballot, Buni thanked God for sparing his life to witness such a moment while thanking the good people of the state for coming out despite so many challenges bedeviling their normal lives to cast their ballots..

The governor further expressed his appreciation with INEC for creating an enabling environment for the people irrespective of the social strata they belong to exercise their franchise without discrimination.

” People came out as early as 8:00 am and met INEC officials on the ground . BVAs this time around did not fail the way and manner it does during the Presidential and National Assemblies Elections.

” Therefore, I commend INEC for attaining such a feat”,. Buni said.
