
Engineer Tony Bala Shamma
A coalition of groups from Akwanga, Wamba, and Nasarawa Eggon in Nasarawa State, has issued a strong call to Engineer Tony Bala Shamma (TBS) to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing their federal constituency in 2027.
The groups made this call during a program held on Saturday at Gaji Luxury Hotel in Akwanga, Nasarawa State. The event was attended by various stakeholders and supporters who expressed their enthusiasm for Engineer Shamma’s potential candidacy.
The chairman of the 1 to 10 people in Akwanga, Ibrahim Yusuf Usman, spoke on behalf of the groups, urging Engineer Shamma to heed their call. He said if TBS refuses to contest, they would contribute money to buy a nomination form for him.
Other speakers at the event, including Jaafaru Wayo from Wamba, Yargata Victor Allu from Akwanga, Abdullahi Mohammed from Nasarawa Eggon and Comrade Dula, all echoed the same sentiments. .
They highlighted Engineer Shamma’s achievements, including enrolling 12,000 people into the Nasarawa State Health Insurance Scheme (NASHIA) and settling medical bills for many patients across the senatorial zone.
According to them, TBS leadership qualities and achievements make him an ideal candidate to represent their constituency in the House of Representatives comes 2027.
They are confident that his experience and dedication to public service would be invaluable in addressing the needs and concerns of their communities.
