The arrested suspect

The Police in Nasarawa State, have arrested and paraded an alleged notorious criminal by name Gabriel Okpe, 32 years for breaking into a house in Karshi, the headquarters of Karshi Development Area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer of Police, DSP Ramhan Nansel, disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen on Thursday.
According to him, “On 27/03/2023 at about 1230hrs, a complaint was lodged at Karshi Division that, an apartment located at Modupe Olusola street, Papaladna, Karshi Development Area of Karu LGA, was burgled and house hold items including a 2010 model Toyota matrix vehicle were carted away by unknown persons”
“Upon receipt of the report a discreet and diligent investigation was launched into the case. The effort of the Police operatives paid off on 28/03/2023 when the principal suspect; Gabriel Okpe ‘M’ 32yrs was trailed and arrested at Jikwoyi FCT Abuja where the following items were recovered as exhibit”
“Toyota matrix with registration number ABC 277 FV Abuja, Honda Accord with registration number LC 699 EKY Lagos, two plasma television sets, one Elepaq generator, a standing fan, Laptop, Microwave, Gas cylinder and burner, two Ipads, a samsung smart phone and other items”
“The Commissioner of Police, CP Maiyaki Baba, has ordered that the suspect be charged to court for prosecution upon conclusion of investigation” the statement said.
