Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum has commissioned three additional capital projects in Kwaya Kusar and Hawul Local Government Areas of Borno State on Saturday.
The educational projects include: Government Day Senior Secondary School in Bila village of Kwaya Kusar LGA, Government Day Junior Secondary School in GwangIng village in Hawul Local Government Area and Government Day Senior Secondary School in Kwaya Bura town of Hawul Local Government Area of the State.

While commissioning the projects, the governor directed the State Commissioner of Education, Hon. Abba Lawan Wakilbe to also ensure that the schools are fenced to safeguard the schools and qualified teaching staff are engaged in all the schools.

The governor, further, assured that adequate study materials and equipments would be provided to enhance learning and skills training while promising to construct teachers staff quarters in all the schools apart from regular training of the school teachers.

He urged the school teachers to dedicate themselves to teaching of the pupils and students by ensuring that the y have good and standard foundation as required through quality teaching.
Zulum also assured that his administration would continue to support educational development of the State in all the 27 LGAs to bridge up the existing gap in education alongside rehabilitation existing schools and construction of new schools in every LGA of the State before the end of his administration.
He, however, commended the State Commissioner of Education for his hard work and commitment in improving the quality and standard of education in the state despite lingering challenges.
The governor also appreciated the support and cooperation of the federal ministry of education in collaboration with AGILE towards standardizing education and learning in the state while promising to continue to strengthen the existing partnership with AGILE.
