Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Benue State Chapter has identified with Dr Philip Ter Nongu on his appointment as a Permanent Secretary in the Benue State Civil Service, describing it as well deserved.
A statement by SWAN Chairperson, Rosario Hembadoon Orsar and the Secretary, Terfa Beeor Alaghga further described the appointment as a testament to his brilliant performance and innovative leadership prowess.
According to the statement the Director of Sports in the Benue State Sports Council, Chairman of the Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi and a Permanent Secretary was a man whose impulse was both idealistic and relentlessly pragmatic adding that “these plural propensity and boarderles interconnectedness are the defining characteristics of Dr Nongu who has answered his father’s name because of his vast knowledge in the civil service”.
The association prayed God to give him joy and fulfilment in his service to the people.
