In a demonstration of compassion and solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan, the Borno State Government through the Ministry of Information and Internal Security, has reached out to key security agencies, distributing palliatives to support them in this holy month of Ramadan, as they continue their critical roles in ensuring safety and order.
A ministerial delegation, led by the Commissioner of Information and Internal Security, Prof. Mohammed Tar, visited the NCoS facility in Maiduguri , Department of Fire Service, and Civilian JTF to deliver essential relief items including rice, sugar, and cash, as directed by the state government.
While delivering the food items and cash, Professor Tar said these gestures reaffirmed the commitment of the administration to supporting frontline personnel who tirelessly serve the state, even as they observe fasting in this sacred period.
In their respective response, the leaderships of the NCoS, Department of Fire Service and the CJTF expressed appreciation to the state government for the gesture and assured of their continued support to the development of Borno state.
During the presentations, the Senior Technical Assistant to His Excellency on Information and Internal Security, Hon. Muktari Yerima, expressed appreciation to Governor Babagana Zulum for providing an exemplary leadership in the state, which has brought about tremendous growth and development.
Hon. Adamu Yerima also applauded the unwavering commitment of the Honourable Commissioner to the welfare of security personnel and the development of Borno State.
“His leadership is marked by honesty, diligence, and an unrelenting dedication to duty. Whether day or night, he works tirelessly, ensuring that the responsibilities entrusted to him are carried out with excellence and sincerity.
“His commitment to transparency and good governance has earned him admiration and respect across all sectors”, Yerima said.
As the holy month of Ramadan progresses, the governor’s aide urged the beneficiaries to continue praying for the Executive Governor of Borno state, for the success of his leadership.
“May God Almighty grant him the strength, wisdom, and grace to continue his selfless service and finish well”, Yerima added.
The ministerial delegate include: the commissioner, Permanent Secretary, Modu Alhaji Mustapha (FCNA), the SA to his excellency in the ministry, Hon. Mohammed Kukawa, the Director Administration and Supply, Babagana Mustapha.
