Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and well-wishers across Nigeria have joined in celebrating the 67th birthday of His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, the Governor of Bauchi State and Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum.
Born on October 5, 1958, in Duguri Town, Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Governor Mohammed has been described as a beacon of progressive leadership and a firm believer in service-driven governance.
In a warm birthday tribute, the PDP hailed the governor as a true embodiment of the party’s ideals of integrity, selfless service, and commitment to the people.
> “We joyfully congratulate His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON… on the occasion of his 67th birthday today,” the party said in an official message on Saturday.
“Senator Bala Mohammed exemplifies the PDP’s core values of integrity, service, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the Nigerian people.”
Since taking office as Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed’s administration has earned recognition for its transformational projects across key sectors — including road construction, expansion of educational infrastructure, improved healthcare delivery, and initiatives aimed at boosting economic opportunities for youth and women.
> “Senator Mohammed’s administration as Governor of Bauchi State has witnessed remarkable strides in infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment, fostering unity and progress in line with the PDP’s manifesto,” the party stated.
The PDP also praised Governor Mohammed’s role as Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, highlighting his bridge-building leadership and efforts to promote cohesion among party stakeholders nationwide.
On his special day, party faithful and citizens alike are reflecting on the governor’s decades-long public service career—from his time in the Senate, through his tenure as FCT Minister, to his current leadership in Bauchi State.
