National Directorate of Employment (NDE) on Thursday opened its portal for the third phase of registration for the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI 3).
Clarifying the registration process, the Acting State Coordinator of the NDE in Sokoto State, Lukman Abubakar, said those who benefited from the first and second phases are no longer eligible for the third phase.
According to Lukman, beneficiaries will be selected from each of the council wards across the 23 local government areas of Sokoto State.
He said the third phase of the RHEI is a continuation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to empowering Nigerians by creating opportunities.
He added that the initiative offers vocational, entrepreneurial and public works training designed to promote wealth creation and self-sufficiency.
Lukman further stated that eligible applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 45. He also affirmed that persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply and urged interested applicants to make enquiries at the NDE office located at No. 7 Dendo Road, off Ibrahim Dasuki Road, behind Saint Paul Church, Sokoto State.
