AIG Zone 6 partners Course 92 on maritime security

Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 6 Headquarters Calabar, Usman Sule Gomna

PATRICK ABANG, Calabar –

The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 6 Headquarters Calabar, Usman Sule Gomna has hosted the Participants of Course 92/2021 Department of Maritime Warfare, Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji, on a study tour to Zone 6, Calabar.

The AIG who spoke in a scholarly brief on “Strengthening Multi-Agency collaboration towards combating emerging security threats within Nigeria’s Maritime domain”.

In a statement signed DSP Nelson Okpabi, Public Relations Officer, Zone 6 Calabar and made available to newsmen.

DSP Okpabi explained that the highlight of the presentation includes: “The historical background of the Nigeria Police Force;Organizational roles (Activities of the Nigeria Police, Zone 6 Headquarters; Multi-Agency collaboration between Zone 6 and NNS Victory/Jubilee; Challenges, Prospects and the way forward”

“The AIG and the Cross River State Command CP also treated the course participants and Directing Staff to a tour memorabilia”, he said.
