
Borno State Arabic and Sangaya Education Board (BOSASEB), in collaboration with the National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS), has officially flagged off the second phase of the Huffaz Training and Certification Programme at Babagana Wakil Centre.
The programme, which comprises of over 200 Huffaz for the 2026/2027 session, follows the successful completion of the first batch.
The Board Chairman, Sheikh Aliyu Abulfatihi appreciated the efforts and support of Governor Babagana Zulum, ministerial and board members while acknowledging the encouragement of others and the Huffaz .
He charged them to be more committed and dedicated in accelerating their performance and urged the board members and committee to continue with their hard work and commitment .

This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Qur’anic education and enhance the capacity of Sangaya graduates across the state.
The event was attended by the Executive Secretary of BOSASEB, Dr. Abdulkadir Abulkarim Harun, alongside esteemed stakeholders, scholars, Board members, Directors, and management staff.
This achievement is made possible through the efforts and commitment of His Excellency, Babagana Zulum, in supporting Sangaya and Alaramma education across Borno State.
